As standard, the metal work for your Portia Juliet balcony is supplied in grade 316 (an outside grade) of stainless steel. We can also supply the metal work in either a grade 316 mirror polished or powder coated finish. We would recommend a mirror polished or powder coated finish if your installation is near to the sea or a swimming pool. This will prevent your metalwork from corroding and discolouring.
The metal work can usually be delivered within 1 to 2 days of the order being placed. The lead time on the glass is usually 1 to 2 weeks to most parts of the UK.
As standard your Portia Juliet balcony is supplied with 12mm toughened glass. Other glass thicknesses can be supplied on request.
The Portia Juliet balcony is tested on balconies up to 2.8m wide. To eliminate any risk of the tube sagging under the weight of the glass, we would usually recommend that the balcony is not more than 2.6m in width. The best fixing is to steel or concrete.
Our friendly and experienced UK customer service team are on hand to help and answer any questions you may have via phone or email.
