Side Drilled Channel for 2.5M or 5M

Introducing the Origin Architectural Side Fixed Flex Fit Pro Balustrade Channel System – the perfect solution for those looking to install a frameless glass balustrade in a fascia mounted application with commercial enviornments. Our channels are supplied in lengths of 2.5m or 5m, with a bespoke cutting service also available. The anodized aluminium U-channel is suitable for both internal and external use, and is naturally protected against saltwater and corrosive conditions. It has a maximum load bearing capacity of 1.5kN, making it ideal for both domestic and commercial applications.
The Flex Fit Pro side fixed aluminium shoe is compatible with glass thicknesses ranging from 12mm to 21.5mm and allows for adjustment of up to 34mm in relation to the vertical axis. Installation is made easy with the ability to access from just one side, no scaffolding required. The channel comes with pre-drilled holes at 150mm intervals on both walls of the U-shape, designed to fit M12 bolts or screws depending on your specific needs. Fixings for steel, concrete, stone, and timber can be purchased separately on our website.
One side of the channel can be used to mount onto the wall, while the other side can be covered with either our Flex Fit side cladding for a clean aesthetic finish or our 25mm blanking caps for a more industrial look. At Origin Architectural, we understand the importance of choice, which is why we offer bespoke sizing and a range of RAL/BS colours for a small surcharge. Most colours are available with a matte finish, with gloss options available in black and silver. Textured finishes are also possible on select colours.
